2 weeks like 2 years!

boyfriend and I went on a weekend date to USS to catch the fireworks! yay yay :D

It was an awesome & funfilled day! after papa & mama Lim sent me home later, I complained to bf I was hungry and he picked me up for supper at simpang bedok for mutarbak! yummmyyyy! :D we had supper there last week too! tsktsk fat can, always simpang / 85!

having you is like heaven sent, always there for me and solving all the problems that I faced. thank you for being so caring and understanding towards me and you would never allow a chance to left things unsaid or undone.

I'm sorry for letting you having the thought that I didn't prioritise your feelings that night. I'm really thankful you are willing to listen to my thoughts and compromise with it (:

My grandma's wake ended last Wed in the total of 9 days and 7 nights. The funeral was so grand and we had almost 3 sessions of chanting of prayers every single day. and It was at the crematorium that I really cried and hope she won't feel any pain.

"Ah ma, I thank you for bringing up papa. he would always go to you whenever he needed help. Without him, there will be no us. Please watch over papa when you are in heaven ok? Bless him with great health and happiness. xie xie ah ma"

It was during the funeral that I saw how much my father had aged. He was so old and fatigued. at the very last day of the funeral, he brought his comb to me and ask me to help him comb his hair. I was speechless. I combed it nicely for him, ensuring that every strand was in place. in the past, I would sit on your shoulder eating the malt candy and dripping onto your hair. Now the jet black hair had turned so grey. I wished we were back to childhood days when we where still happy. papa stop disappointing us. We want you back, really. I wanna see my papa & mama so in love again.

Thank you Mark Lim, who had been with me all these while to bring sunshine into my life. I really appreciate what you had done for me. I enjoyed every single moment with you, chatting, laughing, gossiping and the quiet moments in the car where you will just sing along with any song.

For tonight, you played and sang me 'I do Cherish You' & '世界唯一的你' over the phone, to wish me goodnight and sweet dreams (: yay! you're learning all my fav songs too! I hope to see drums next time too! :p

I hope to spend more time together with you despite our super busy schedules. Jiayou for your upcoming exams! Work hard for the next 3 years in NUS! and your Capoeira and Water Polo!

Ah Ma finally bade goodbye to all of us today. I did not cry. I was happy for her. She had finally ended all her sufferings and ready to find ah gong at another place to enjoy their times together.

She had been strong. She fought through her sickness. She was brave. She had lived to see 4 generations. And I know she will be watching us from up there (:

today was the first time I saw how papa was so fragile and old. His hair was so grey. He looked tired. I thought of my maternal grandma at home too. so many of my close kin were always beside me but I always took it for granted that they will be by my side. I felt really guilty. still i wanna say, cherish the people around you.

I guess the times we see our paternal side will be lesser after this wake. I don't know why, but it seemed like its only our family who is always so busy to turn up for any of their activities. I am really jealous of the kinship all my cousins and relative share. Since young, mum had always forbade us to be too close with our paternal side. its becoming a habit now.

I'm so lethargic today. school had been so busy that I hardly get to sleep. I could just collapse anytime. I'm so so so tired. For now, I just hope I'll have 48 hours a day.

& know what, finally * had shown * true colors. i'm utterly disgusted. But i seriously can't be bothered :/ go ahead and mess up with your life. I can't stop you from it.

Arrival via Brissy with no plans.

Back dated for Brisbane trip in Aug 2010. I was alone abroad for an impromptu trip.

David Guetta and pretty starry lights with me on trip. Eugene and his friends drove to pick me up at the airport in the wee hours. And so happened that I knew them from tp too (: thanks tim & jialing! :D

Mitre Boys Home! aka OCS boys hut (all 4 of them plus the frequent visitor Tiong Han which added to 5) :D thanks yichao for your comfy bed. Felt so bad that you had to sleep in a sleeping bag in the living room :(

Uni of Queensland. Finally I'm here! crashed weisong's lecture and toured around UQ before heading home to have dinner whipped up by Stella! She's super awesome! Michelle, Kelly and xinhui too! wonderful hosts! :D and thanks pam & tessa for putting me at their Manors home. I moved out of the Mitre boys apt and crashed into the Manors. haha :D

I was out on friday touring Indroophilly alone before meeting Alvin for dinner in the city! we took a City Cat! so cool! its a ferry from St Lucia to the city! :D he introduced me to Mad Dong San. The korean food is fantastic and relatively cheap! we had bubble tea later :D I haven't seen him since yr 2006? haha, can't believe our next meet up was in Brissy! his housemate was my senior in Poly too! wah such coincidence! We chatted at his place which was a few apt away from Eugene's only.

We woke up early and headed to West End Market for grocery shopping! :D the Hungarian pizza is finger lickin' good can! that's Pam & my bff. Sadly they broke off after I left Brissy cos of personal reasons.

Bff and I went to Lone Pines Koala Sanctuary! Many many many many koalas and kangaroos!! aiyo so cute! haha :D had yummy popsicle too! we watched some animal shows and so happened that we were seated at the first row and the eagle had to gobble up a dead mice right in front of us! ewwwww~ We had subway and went home for dinner! Jialing was the cook that night! every night would be different people cooking. I super love yichao's mapo tofu. hahahaha :D Yichao & Tiong Han always drove us back to Manors despite like 5 mins walk home from Mitre st (:

I went Gold Coast alone on Sunday for shopping at Harbourtown! I didnt want to trouble bff after his marathon in which was at 6am that day. but i thought 10km was not a challenge to him. He used to be the fastest runner in OCS. I didn't knw until they told me. haha.

I spent super long time travelling can! I even went to surfers paradise just to get nougats as requested. it took me like 2.5hrs from my place to harbourtown and another hr from harbourtown to surfers! i was so happy that i wasn't lost. lol. cab would have cost a bomb man! I'm so familiar with surfers paradise and know exactly which shop to go to. haha. We shopped there thoroughly twice last year can. Movenpick ice cream is like one of the best ice cream i had before can! too bad sg doesn't have the parlour :(

I was on time for dinner, this time by James. He's so sweet to Tessa can. hahahaha! (internal joke)

I brought Pam to shop at Indroophilly! hahaha i'm super evil. she spent lots of money that day! I brought Weisong for dinner in the city too! to mds! I am so in love with the korean food can! and yes there were Nando's everywhere. apparently the one at Mitre street was one of the best. hehe.

I went to tour city alone while the rest goes to school! I went South Banks and then to shop everywhere. Oh it was my first time playing in a casino! i managed to win about 40plus aud from the 1cent jackpot machine. lol. bff treated me and pam for dinner that night! MDS again! I'm super in love with the bibimbap. they are authentic korean food plus along the street there were 2 restaurants! MDS1 and MDS 2!

This is Pam & Tessa's place where I was put up for a week. We would have movie marathons in the living room or the guys would come over to study.

It was a pleasure knowing them and hosting me so well!! Thanks everyone! There are plentiful of pics in Pam's DSLR but hadn't had a chance to upload yet. hah. I so wanna go back again! sooooooooon! :D
